Tiled floors are typically laid in high-traffic or challenging-use areas like halls, kitchens and bathrooms, while wall tiles are often subject to extremes of heat and moisture – when used as cooker splashbacks, fire surrounds or in shower cubicles, for example. In these types of environments, accidental damage is an occupational hazard. Surface Magician can rectify chips, burns and stains to recreate the tiles’ original style, colour and finish, so the repair blends in seamlessly with the surrounding area.

Chipped floor tiles

Not only do chipped and cracked floor tiles cause a safety and hygiene risk, they also ruin the appearance of the room. Removing broken tiles to replace with new runs the risk of damaging surrounding tiles while also being inconvenient and expensive, and not even necessarily being a good colour match. Instead, we can restore the tiles to their original condition, creating an invisible and permanent repair.  Unfortunately we no longer offer repairs to cracked tiles, as we feel that the finish after the repair is not good enough, and we try never to disappoint our customers

Damaged fireplace tiles

With a tiled fireplace forming the centrepiece of the room, the last things you want your eyes drawn to are cracked, burned or stained tiles. Surface Magician carries out thorough restorations of damaged fireplaces using ceramic fillers and matching both pattern and colour, as well as removing any traces of stains and scorch marks.
